Linda Bossard Obituary

Linda E. Bossard, age 77 of Etna, NY passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021at home with her family by her side.

Born August 20, 1943 in Ithaca, NY, she was one of fourteen children born to the late William and Mildred Murphy Evener Sr. She received her business degree from TC3 and was employed with Owasco Abstract Co. in Auburn, NY prior to retirement. Her family was her passion and she made her girls and grandchildren her number one priority.

Linda is survived by her two daughters, Jill Bossard Kish (Keith Gentz) of Freeville, NY and Shari Bossard Johnson (Roy – deceased) of Etna, NY; grandchildren, Beth Rockwell (Charles Reed), Heather (Mark) Wing, Lisa (David) Boehlke, Amber Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Ciera (Jon-Michael) Ottenschot, Stephen A. Kish IV and Brian A. Kish; 13 great grandchildren, Jessica, Brock, Ryker, Sophia, Audrey, Zachary, Natalie, Logan, David Jr., Hannah, Alex, Wyatt and Kohen; 3 surviving sisters, Virginia Renda, Kay Alexander and Sharon Drader and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents and son in law, Linda was predeceased by her stillborn son, Anthony Bossard and 10 siblings.

At her request, there will be no formal services. Those who wish may make memorial contributions, in her memory, to Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital (upstatefoundation.org) or Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation (www.mdff.org/)
