Dennis J. Beebe

Dennis Beebe, 63, of 6 West Jersey Hill Road Ithaca, NY passed away March 29,2021 at Robert Packer Hospital after a long illness. Born April 2, 1957 in Cortland, NY, he was the son of the late Lyle Beebe and Lucille Weeks.

Dennis Beebe is survived by his lifelong partner, Cindy French of Ithaca; he is also survived by his children, Andrea Beebe of Alden, Melissa Delong of Newfield, Mariah Beebe of Trumansburg, Jessica (Buck) Hile of Ithaca, Capri Genug of Ithaca, Kimberly French of Ithaca, Christopher French of Ithaca, Robert (Nikki) French of Dryden and Missy his dog (his girl). He is also survived by his siblings, Glen (Stacy) Beebe of McLean, Norman Beebe of Groton, Nora (Carl) Hammond of Groton, Ed (Tamara) Grant of McGraw, Kimberly Weeks of Indiana, Alisha Weeks of Ithaca and Pamela Weeks of Ithaca;  24 Grandchildren; 5 Great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition, he was predeceased by his mother, Lucille Weeks and father, Lyle Beebe; brother, Kenneth Beebe; sister, Margaret Weeks and granddaughter, Michelle Beebe.

For over 30 years, Dennis was a long- time night head cook and supervisor of Manos Diner in Ithaca, NY. He was loved and respected by many people who worked with him through the years.

Dennis also loved to go hunting and trap shooting over the years. He enjoyed playing pool and going to the gun clubs.  He also took great pride in his Angel garden.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; whom he loved dearly.

There will be a calling hour at Perkins Funeral Home in Dryden, NY on Friday April 9th from 3:00-4:00pm. There will also be a church service held Saturday the 10th from 1-3 at the First Baptist Church of West Danby, 2219 Spencer Road, Spencer, NY 14883.
