WANDA IRENE HOLMES, age 93, formerly of Marathon and Ithaca, NY passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Groton Nursing facility after a period of declining health. Born Feb. 28, 1920 in Lapeer, NY she was a daughter of the late Merle and Lucy Quail Ticknor. Years ago she worked at Crescent Corset and enjoyed bowling, gardening, bus trips, dancing and was a life Member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.
