Virginia (Evener) Renda

Virginia Renda, 93 of Cortland, NY passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center.

Born October 22, 1927 she was the daughter of the late William and Mildred Murphy Evener. She loved her puzzle books and adult coloring, but she especially loved spending time with her family.

Virginia is survived by her children, Mary Brickey (Glen) of Locke; Lyn Degear (Sue) of Fayetteville, NC and Cindy Brown (Joel) of Cortland; stepson, James Renda of Killawog; sisters, Kay Alexander and Sharon (Jamie) Drader; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Renda; son, Keith Degear; grandson, Derek Brown and eleven brothers and sisters.

Friends may call from 10-11 am, Monday, June 7, 2021 followed by a funeral at 11 am at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY with Pastor David Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden, NY.
