Virginia E. (Wolcott) Neff

Virginia E. Neff, age 84 of Dryden, NY passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 13, 2021 at the home of her daughter in McLean, NY.

Born July 17, 1937 in Margaretsville, NY she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Strain Wolcott and wife of the late Bruce Neff who passed away in 2016. She had worked at Smith Corona and for many years, was a nanny for many area families.

Virginia is survived by three daughters, Michelle (Richard) Preston of McLean, NY, Tammy (Ronald) Welch of Stroud, OK and Vicki (Mike) Jordan of Freeville, NY; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Edna Bivans and Marion Meade; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Barbie Jo Neff; sister, Ruth Gerow and brothers, Jack and Millard Wolcott.

Private burial will be in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Assoc., 401 Hays Ave., Endicott, NY 13760.
