Toni Blanchard

Toni Ann Blanchard, a woman of immense generosity, sharp wit, and undeniable spirit, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2026, at the age of 69.

Toni was a woman with a big heart who always put others before herself. She was a rare combination of a fiercely giving spirit and a hilarious, no-nonsense, sassy nature. Known for her unfiltered mouth, she never sugarcoated the truth—but you always knew exactly where you stood with her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara (Itzo) Furman; her sister, Ellen (Porcaro) Jewett; and her brother, Peter Porcaro.

Toni worked for nearly 30 years at General Electric in Rutland, Vermont. After retiring, she dedicated much of her life to caring for her family, continuing to put others first despite her tough exterior.

When she wasn't looking out for someone, Toni loved a lively game of poker with her friends and family, where her quick wit and sassy sense of humor were always on full display. At home, she found immense comfort and joy in the company of her beloved cat, Callie.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Jessica Couch, and Geoffrey Couch, the proud parents of her three cherished grandchildren, Miles, Jillian, and Eliot Couch; her sister, Lois Porcaro; niece, Melissa (Porcaro) Stewart; and nephew, Samuel Porcaro.

Toni will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her generous heart, sharp humor, stubborn spirit, and unmistakable way of telling it like it was will live on in the memories of those fortunate enough to have known her.
