Thomas Edward Flathers

THOMAS EDWARD FLATHERS, age 65, of Kellogg Road, Cortland, NY died Friday, October 26, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Syracuse. "Tom" was born April 24, 1942 at Herkimer, NY a son of the late Norman and Frances Nichols. A former resident of Sidney and Dolgeville, Tom has lived in Cortland area for the last 50 years. He was formerly employed at Barden Homes as a truck driver. Tom enjoyed four wheeling, fishing, hunting and camping.

Survivors include his daughters, Susan (Gary) Darling of Bainbridge and Stephanie (Duane) Canfield; his sister, Carol (Charles) Stephens of Forestport, NY; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Ralph Frederick Flathers.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev.Tony Hipes officiating. Burial will be private in Crown Hill Memorial Park, Clinton, NY. Friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 PM at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden.
