Susan "Sudy" Shefter

Susan (Sudy) Shefter, 75, died on July 18, 2017 at her home in Ithaca, New York.
She is survived by her husband, Martin, her daughter, Liz, her granddaughter, Elsa,
her sister, Hallie, and many loving relatives and friends.
Born in Chicago, IL, she grew up in Iowa City, Iowa. She received a B.A. from Radcliffe College and a M.A. from the University of Wisconsin. She was a Peace Corps volunteer in Ethiopia from 1964-1966. Sudy spent her later years pursuing writing, singing and photography.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
