Susan K. Gilbert

Susan K. (Reif) Gilbert,76, of Dryden, NY passed away May 14,2026 in Freeville, NY. She was born in Cortland, NY on March 21,1950 to the late Leroy and Jeannette Reif.

In 1968 she graduated from McGraw Central Highschool. Susan earned her AAS. Business Degree from Broome County Community College. A couple of the companies she worked for included ;The George Bailey Agency and The William George Agency for Children, which she retired from after 15 years.

Susan was an active member in her Dryden Community, where she resided for 55 years. Among the organizations she joined included ;The Dryden Zoning Board and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 42 years, Donald. Susan is survived by her sons; Timothy(Sarah),Fred and Joshua. Also she has six grandchildren; Zachary, Xander, Arianna, Lilianna, Nathan and Noah.

Susan is survived by her brothers; Mike(Syracuse),Mark(Cato) and her sisters; MaryAnn(Pittsburg, PA.),Patty(Locke) and Peggy(Estes Park, CO.). She was predeceased by her sister, Nancy.

When Parkinson Disease robbed her of the ability to continue to live in her home of 50 years in Dryden, her son, Timothy and his wife, Sarah invited her into their Freeville home to live.

There are no calling hours or services scheduled. Burial will be in Willow Glen Cemetery of Dryden.
