STEVEN S. BORDWELL,
age 59, of 44 Rickard Street, Cortland, NY died Monday, Dec. 21, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Bordwell was born Jan. 7, 1950 in Cortland and was a son of the late Clinton and Elizabeth Metcalf Bordwell. Fondly known as “Ham N Egger”, Steve was employed in various construction positions in Cortland, Atlanta and Las Vegas. He had resided with his sister in Cortland until recently when he moved to Rickard Street. Steve was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and had made countless friends while being associated with AA for the last 27 years.
Survivors include his siblings, Mary Lou Bordwell of Cortland, Clinton Kurt Bordwell of Mt. Airy, NC and Susan Marcanio of Latrobe, PA; aunts, Patricia Bordwell, Joyce Metcalf and a great-uncle, Nelson (Florence) Blanchard. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be at 1 PM Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. David H. Nicholls officiating. Burial, delayed until spring, will be in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden.
