Stephen Robert Glazier

Stephen Robert Glazier, 71, eldest child of Robert and Shirley (Holcomb) Glazier, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, with his family gathered lovingly around him.

Steve was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin. He brought joy and smiles to those around him and will always be remembered fondly. He was an avid fan of Syracuse Orange, The Three Stooges, MASH, and Country Music.

He was the bond of love among his family and was well known for his constant, daily prayers for them. He was a prime example of unconditional love and brought joy to anyone he met. He was so loved by all and will be incredibly missed. His siblings always agree Steve was a “Very Good Big Brother”!

Steve is survived by five of his siblings; Julie (Albert) Widger of McGraw, Thomas (Karen) Glazier of McGraw, Bobbie Fox (Robert Marks) of Cortland, Jackie (Bill) Whitmore of Cortland, and Lorie (Darrell) Greenwood of Blodgett Mills. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and their spouses, 17 great-nieces and nephews, 1 great great nephew, a very special uncle, Larry Winfield of Georgia, and an aunt, Beverly Glazier of Florida, as well as several cousins. In addition to his parents, Steve is predeceased by his youngest brother Jeffrey Glazier.

There will be no calling hours or funeral, a private graveside service will be held by family at Forest Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Perkins Funeral Home.
