ROBERT D. SKINNER, age 65, a long time McLean , NY resident died Saturday, April 12, 2013 at his residence in Cortland, NY. “Bob” was born December 4th, 1947 in Syracuse, NY a son of the late Orla Rood Skinner and Rev. Stanley Skinner, Sr. He was graduated from Dryden High School in 1966 and from TC3 with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. Bob served honorably in the US Army 1967 to 1970. A 50 year member of the McLean Fire Department, Bob was also a member of the Mclean Community Church. He had been employed at various automobile dealerships as a salesman and was currently employed at The Shopper as an advertising representative. Bob was a McLean person through and through never wanting to move away and always ready to be of assistance to any person in need. He enjoyed music, NASCAR and all things of automobilia with a long time interest in VW’s.
