ROBERT JAMES HUTCHINGS, SR., age 61, of Gracie Road, Cortland, NY passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center after a long illness.

age 61, of Gracie Road, Cortland, NY passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center after a long illness.
“Bob” was born March 18, 1951 in Cortland, NY a son of the late William and Frances Heffron Hutchings. He was a life resident of the Cortland area and had been employed until 2001 as a locksmith at SUNY Cortland.
He was a member of Willowbrook Golf Course and was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Smalley Hutchings; his sons, Robert J. Hutchings, Jr. and Michael (Brenda) Hutchings all of Cortland and a daughter, Lori (Nathan) Gates of Cincinnatus, NY; grandchildren, Natalie, Jack and Emily Gates; sisters, Helen Bates of Madison Hts., VA and Sharon Guardiola of Enfield, NY; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
