Robert J. De Luca
, humanist, performer, beloved family member and Commissioner of Mental Health for Tompkins County passed away October 16, 2011. Bob in his infinitely loving way, created a fund called the "Commissioner's Fund for Recovery and Recognition" and he made it in honor of those providers and recipients of Mental Hygiene Services in Tompkins County who represent Hope, Growth, Recovery and Recognition. Four years ago, Bob instituted an annual event to recognize the accomplishments of outstanding people in all facets of Mental Hygiene in this county. He is determined to have this event continue, and thus formed the Commissioner's Fund.
