Pearl E. Osborne

Pearl E. Osborne , 93, passed March 8, 2012 at her home, after a long illness. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Wayland F. Osborne, in 2000 as well as her brothers and sisters.Pearl Osborne was born November 28, 1918 to the late George and Rosa Parks. She was formally employed by the Crescent Corset, Vesta Corset as well as Smith Corona before joining her husband in their business, the Cincinnatus Dairy Bar. She then, with her late husband, moved to Masaryktown, Florida where they enjoyed many years of retirement. She returned to Cortland, NY in 2006.She is survived by a daughter, Joan Stewart and husband, Gordon; three sons, Gerald Osborne and wife, Marcia; Richard Osborne and significant other Linda Frady; and Wayland “Ray” Osborne and wife, Lorraine; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.There will be no services and memorial contributions may be made, in lieu of flowers, to Caring Community Hospice of Cortland, 11 Kennedy Parkway, Cortland, NY 13045.
