Paula J. Ward

Paula J. Ward, age 69, of Slaterville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 8, 2026.

Born March 26, 1957 in Cortland, NY she was the daughter of Paul and Emma Gates.

Paula enjoyed fishing, tending her goats and especially loved her dog, Killer.

Paula is survived by her loving husband, Chuck Ward; children, Donnie (Gina) Ward, Carey (Shane) Ward, and Phillip Locke; grandchildren, Kelsey Ward, Tricia and Sy Ward, Daisy Perry (Wrenly Hayes), and Phillip Locke Jr.; brothers Paul Gates and Peter Gates and sisters Amy Gates and Molly Gates.
