PATRICIA ANN MORSE,
age 75, of 172 Ed Hill Road, Freeville, NY passed away Thursday, July 31, 2008 at the Lakeside Nursing home after a lengthy illness. "Pat" was born Dec. 22, 1932 at Ithaca a daughter of the late Collins and Marsha VanDeMark Fenner. She was graduated from Ithaca High School in 1950 and from Rochester Business Institute in 1952. On May 28, 1954 she was married to Andrew "Bud" Morse at Brooktondale. Pat was employed years ago at the First National Bank of Ithaca and later in the investment office of Cornell University until retiring in 1998. Pat and Bud traveled extensively in their motor coach including five trips to Alaska. Pat’s family are grateful for the loving care provided by the staff of Lakeside Nursing Home.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Andrew Morse of Freeville; her daughters, Kathleen (Dave) Perkins of Freeville, Mary (Joseph) Davidson of North Richland Hills, TX and Sara (Christopher) Gibbons of Cortland; grandchildren, Josephine (Daniel) Hines ,Christopher Perkins, Andrew and Matthew Lynch, Katherine Davidson, Correy and Kyle Gibbons; a sister Joan (Harold) Payton of Brooktondale, NY; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private with burial in McLean Rural Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Perkins Funeral Home assisted the family.
