Myranda Anne Hollenbeck, born on July 13, 1998, in Ithaca, NY, passed away unexpectedly August 13, 2026. Her life was marked by dedication, compassion, and a deep affection for her family and friends.

She grew up in Newfield, where she graduated from Newfield High School. She went to TC3 for her Associates Degree, then went on to Hartwick University. Her love of music and theater followed her through out her schooling.

Myranda’s warmth and steadfast work ethic touched many throughout her life. In her professional life, Myranda served as a Teller for Tompkins Trust at the Main Office. Her colleagues knew her as someone who brought professionalism and grace to the workplace each day. Clients appreciated her sincerity and patience, characteristics that made every interaction with her memorable and pleasant. Myranda took great pride in her ability to help others and routinely went out of her way to ensure everyone felt valued and respected.

Family was central to Myranda’s heart. She leaves behind her loving mother, Honey Hollenbeck, who was her unwavering guide and support. Myranda is also survived by her devoted brother, Zackary Giampaolo, and her loving sister, Christina Sanseverino. Her cherished grandmother, Kathleen VanDyke, and her caring aunt and uncle, Judy and Brent Hollenbeck, grieve her loss and will hold her memory close always.

Myranda was preceded in death by her beloved father, Jeff Hollenbeck; her grandfather, Ed Hollenbeck; and her grandmother, Lorraine Hollenbeck. Their memories remained with her always, and she honored their legacy.

Those who knew Myranda remember her as sassy and sarcastic with a gentle soul with an warm heart. Her absence leaves a profound void, but her spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A Celebration of Life honoring Myranda Anne Hollenbeck will be held on August 29, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Stewart Park, located at 1 James L Gibbs Drive, Ithaca, NY 14850. Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to gather in remembrance and pay tribute to her remarkable life.

Myranda’s memory will endure in the hearts of those who loved her—her kindness, dedication, and generous spirit will never be forgotten.
