Michael E. Foster Sr., age 59 of Groton, NY passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 23, 2026 at the home of his niece in Dryden, NY.
Born April 26, 1966 in Cortland, NY he was the son of the late Eugene and Mary Louise Chandler Foster. He had been employed with Ferris Lawn Equipment in Cazenovia, NY.
Mike is survived by his son, Michael E. Foster Jr., and daughter, Mirinda Foster; brothers, Scott J. Foster of Groton, NY and Billy Jack Foster of Youngstown, OH; his uncle, Bob Chandler; nieces and nephews, Kimberly, Kelly, Mackenzie, Samantha, Alexis, Gage, Billy Jr, Terrance, and Julian; great nieces and nephews, Lily Rose, Brayden, Jayden, Greyson, Maya, Jase and Elyssa. In addition to his parents, Mike was predeceased by his aunt, Dory Whipple and uncles, Albert, Norman and Dale Chandler.
A Private celebration of his life will be held at the convenience of the family.
