Mary Catherine (Cathy) McCoscoe
, widow of William H. (Mac) McCoscoe, passed away after a long illness on September 17, 2012.
Catherine was born in 1929 in Sumter, SC, was married and had 3 daughters: Theresa Lance, Patricia (Dick) Moran and Mary (Bryan) Van Pelt, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Catherine and Mac relocated from Summerville, SC to Ithaca in the late 1970s and stayed through 1983, when Mac died. Catherine returned to SC in 1985.
Catherine was an avid gardener, cross-country skier, and miniatures collector. She loved singing in church choirs, making new friends in all the locales she resided in, and traveling.
Graveside services and interment will be at 10:30 am Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Willow Glen Cemetery, 2090 Dryden Rd., Dryden, NY with Rev. Malachy Eloo Nwosu officiating. Perkins Funeral Home is assisting the family locally. www.perkinsfuneralhome.com
