Marlene R. Leonard

Marlene O. Leonard, 82, of Moravia, NY went "Home" to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday Oct. 30, 2016. She passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside. Born April 12, 1934 to Erwin and Ruth Owen of Homer, NY. A longtime resident of Homer, NY, Marlene was a devout Christian and had lived in FL, NC, SC and AZ., throughout her life. She is the sister of pre-deceased Charles Owen and is survived by her husband Donald Leonard of Moravia, NY, daughter Vicki Phinney of Cortland, NY, sons Leonard Niswender of Moravia, NY, John (Peggy) Niswender of Inman, SC, Eric Niswender of Auburn, NY and Duane (Nancy) Niswender of Moravia, NY, a Step-son, Donald (Marge) Leonard Jr. of Cortland, NY, along with 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation hours nor service. She will be buried in Glenwood Cemetery in Homer, NY where her family will have a private gravesite interment.
