Marjorie (Marnie) Eaton, 95, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2014. The daughter of Bert and Lena Knowland was born and grew up in Deansboro, NY, married Clarence Robert Eaton and resided in Clinton, NY. Marnie worked for the US Government at Griffiss Air Force Base, NY and later at Tinker Air Force Base, OK. Marnie was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Eufaula, OK. Marnie was predeceased by her husband and her eldest son, Charles Robert Eaton. She is survived by her son James Clarence (Diane) Eaton; five grandchildren, James R. (Tanya) Eaton, Richard C. Eaton, Melissa A. (Joseph) Salzano, Jennifer Eaton and Renee Eaton; six great-grandchildren, James Glenn Eaton, Stormie Maine (Steven) Potts, Derek Shane Eaton, Madison Ann Salzano, Christian Eaton, Joseph Raymond Eaton; and one great-great-grandchild, Kaiden Jameson Potts.
A graveside memorial will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Franklin Springs, NY. Perkins Funeral Home, Dryden, NY assisted the family. www.perkinsfuneralhome.com
