It is with deep respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Lisa Marlene Tedora, a devoted Registered Nurse at Cayuga Medical Center, who left this world on March 22, 2026. Born on May 1, 1949, in Monroe, Michigan, Lisa lived a life marked by unwavering dedication, compassion, and remarkable achievement.
Lisa’s journey was distinguished from the very beginning. She graduated from Upstate Medical College of Nursing with the highest honors, serving as president of her class and earning the esteemed title of Valedictorian with an immaculate 4.0 GPA. Her proudest accomplishment was graduating from nursing school entirely on her own, a testament to her resilience, intellect, and unwavering determination.
Throughout her career as a nurse, Lisa’s empathy and care touched the lives of countless patients and colleagues alike. She was known not just for her medical expertise but for the profound compassion she extended to every individual who sought her help. Her colleagues at Cayuga Medical Center and the many people she served held her in the highest regard, cherishing her kindness and dedication.
Lisa was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Frank Tedora and Helen Dobson, whose legacy of love and strength she carried with her throughout her life. Though they are no longer with us, Lisa’s commitment to excellence and her caring spirit remain a lasting tribute to their influence.
She is remembered as a woman of extraordinary talent and heart—a shining example of perseverance and humanity. Lisa Marlene Tedora’s life was a beacon of hope and kindness, illuminating the path for future generations in the field of healthcare.

A graveside service for Lisa will be held at the Brookton Cemetery on May 1, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
