LEORA TUBBS PELLESCKI
, formerly of Penn Yan, N.Y. passed away quietly in her sleep on 7/16/08 at her residence, Willowbrook Manor. Leora was born on
December 20th, 1926 in Penn Yan where she resided for over 70 years until
she moved to Dryden in mid-2001. Leora graduated from Penn Yan Academy in
1944 before receiving her Business degree from Rochester Business Institute.
After graduating from RBI, Leora married Enis Pellescki to whom she was
married for 33 years. Leora cared deeply for others and was always ready to
help someone in need. Leora was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Hopkins, son-in-law Scott, and
grandson Tim all of Dryden.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the
Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Kinney officiating. Burial will be in
St. Michael's Cemetery, Penn Yan, NY. Friends are invited to call from 9
to11 AM Saturday at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden. Donations
