LAWRENCE E. "Hammie" HAMMOND,
73, of 584 Route 38, Dryden, NY passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at his home.
Born January 29, 1933 in Buffalo, NY he was a life long resident of Dryden. He was employed at Dryden Central School for 33 years, retiring in 1996.
Hammie is survived by his wife, Marion L. Hammond of Dryden, NY; daughters, Gloria (Everett) Teague of Marietta, NY and Tamara (Joseph) Onofrio of Newark Valley, NY; stepdaughters, Barbara (Christy) Mathewson of Longwood, FL, Alicia (Stan) Zukowski of Berkshire, NY, Denise Wasley of Deltona, FL, and Gail (David) Klingle of Richford, NY; aunt, Elizabeth O’Donnell of Woodbury Heights, NJ; 16 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2006 with Rev. James Willard officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dryden Ambulance.
