Kevin Douglas Ashman

Kevin D. Ashman, 65 of Dryden, NY passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 with his loving wife and children by his side.

Kevin was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 6, 1956. He was the son of the late Edmund A. Ashman and Ruth M. (Jackson) Ashman.

He was a graduate of Suffern High School, Suffern, NY and Tompkins Cortland Community College. Kevin worked as a Research Administrator in the Department of Chemistry, at Cornell University for 36 years.

In addition to his mother, Ruth, Kevin is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sara J. (Newhart) Ashman, his son, Sean W. Ashman (Ariane) and his daughter, Amanda M. Ashman; three grandchildren, Finley, Piper, and Everett Ashman. Kevin is also survived by two sisters, Diane Cotroneo (Frank), of Ponte Vedra Fla., and Ruthann Osborn (Clarke) of Suffern, NY.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, from 4:30-7:30 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 18, at 10:00am.
