Joyce M. Lawrence

JOYCE M. LAWRENCE, 82, of 31 Torok Rd., Groton, NY passed away Friday, February 25, 2005 at Cortland Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Born September 4, 1922 in Berkshire, NY, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Helen Howland Barrows and wife of the late Frank Lawrence who died in 1969.

Mrs. Lawrence is survived by her daughter, Brenda Collins of McConnellsburg, PA, son, Bradley (Barbara) Lawrence of Hockley, TX, daughter, Kathleen (Marvin) Chase of Groton, NY, daughter, Tina (Brian) Hollenbeck of Dryden, NY; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; brothers, Clayton Barrows of Berkshire, NY and Iram Barrows of Marathon, NY; several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by sisters, Frances Walker and Marguerite Clark.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY with Rev. Vern Groves officiating. Spring burial will take place at Center Lisle Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 12 - 2 PM prior to the service.
