Joshua Andrew Beckman, 34, of Binghamton, NY, passed away suddenly on August 6, 2026. Born in Ithaca, NY, Joshua’s life was marked by a deep and unwavering love for his children, who were his greatest joy and pride.

An avid fisherman and passionate video gamer, Joshua cherished the simple pleasures of life and the moments he shared with those he loved most. His devotion to his family was evident to all who knew him.

Joshua was predeceased by his mother Tanya Slater, father Daniel Beckman, brother Jacob Slater, sister Miranda Patrick, and his son Dartanyan Williams.

He is lovingly remembered by the mother of his children, Leann Yaple; his children Jesse Beckman, Daniel Beckman, Conor Beckman, and Sophi Taylor; his stepson Alexander Jordan; his father Ronald Abbey; siblings Alicia Abbey, Nicole Bell, Patrick Abbey, Kara (Tristan) Slater, Kenny (Jasmine) Slater, Chandeler Lelik, Mark Lelik II, and Mariah Slater; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Joshua’s spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him, a presence felt in every cherished memory and every quiet moment of reflection.
