JOSEPH D. FITZGIBBONS, age 48, of 27 South St., Dryden, NY died Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Cortland Memorial Hospital after becoming ill at home. Born, Sept. 25, 1964, he was the son of Jean Hart Fitzgibbons of Dryden and the late William Patrick Fitzgibbons. Joe was graduated from Dryden High School in 1983 and was retired from the maintenance department of the New York State Armory. Joe was an avid sports fan who followed the Cornell Hockey team, the Boston Celtics and worshiped the New York Yankees.
