John G. Stelick

John G. Stelick, of Dryden, NY passed away on his 78th birthday, Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY following a long battle with heart disease.
Born June 22, 1938 at home in the Town of Dryden, NY a son of the late Stephen and Anna Blazevich Stelick. He was a school bus driver for 29 years with the Dryden School District; a Farmer and Business Owner. On August 22, 1964 he was married to Barbara Johnson of Ithaca who survives.
In addition to his wife of 52 years, Barbara J. Stelick at home, John is survived by four sons, John (Carrie) Stelick of Groton, NY, James Stelick of Erwin, TN, Scott (Alina) Stelick of Slaterville Springs, NY and Thomas (Melinda) Stelick of Groton, NY; eight grandchildren, Ryan, Corey, Katie, Sarah, Sophia, Scarlett, Nick and Matt; brother, Stephen Stelick of Dryden, NY and sister, Mary Bryant of Charlotte, NC and several nieces and nephews. In addition, he was predeceased by his siblings, Anne Watson, Joseph, Frank and Carl Stelick.
Friends are invited to call from 4-6 pm, Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY. Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Dryden Ambulance Fund, PO Box 397, Dryden, NY 13053.
