John Leroy Earl, 77 of Dryden, NY passed away Sunday, October 18, 2026 at the Hospicare Residence.
He was born December 3, 1948 in Ithaca, NY and grew up in Etna, a son of the late Charles and Jennie Hammond Earl.
John was a retired Police Officer from the Ithaca Police Department after over 30 years of service.
He is survived by his sons, Mark Earl of Groton, NY and Justin Earl of Dryden, NY; grandchildren, Eric Earl of Plantation, FL, Stephanie Earl of Dryden, NY; Ezra Earl and Reagan Earl of Dryden, NY; great granddaughter, Lia Albro; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Staci Jo Earl on January 26, 2026 and his five siblings.
