JERRY MARGARET RIVERS, age 82, Professor Emeritas of Nutrition at Cornell University, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at her home in Walden Place, Cortland, NY.A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm on Monday, October 10, 2011 at Walden Place, 839 Bennie Road, Cortland, NY with Rev. Bruce Buchannon officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Cortland County SPCA, 879 McLean Road, Cortland, NY 13045. Perkins Funeral Home, Dryden, NY is assisting the family. A more complete obituary will be published at a later date.
