Jean Clapper Bortz passed away peacefully May 8, 2024.
She is predeceased by her husband, John "Jack" Bortz of Ithaca.
Jean is survived by her brother, Dale (Shirley) Clapper of Freeville and her children, Elby Eckert of Fallbrook, CA, Lynn (Don) Chambers of Himrod, Kip Townsend, Jim (Penny) Townsend and Terry Townsend all of Ithaca. She has 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Hillside Alliance Church.
There will be no services per her request. She will be laid to rest in Laceyville, PA with her Parents.
