Janice (Jan) Cornish - COLUMBIA, SC - A graveside service for Jan Cornish, age 78, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Newfield, NY. The family will receive friends immediately after the service at a location to be announced. Jan Cornish died Tuesday, November 7, 2017. She was born in Ithaca, NY on June 12, 1939, a daughter of the late Lester Cornish and Jenny Price Cornish. Jan was a loving mother and grandmother. Surviving are her son, Craig Marten of Margate, FL and daughter, Tonya Annette (Michael) Curtis of Columbia, SC; one granddaughter, Brianna Annette Curtis of Columbia, SC; an older sister, Leslie Reynolds of Christiansburg, VA; her brother, Saint Clair (Bonnie) Cornish of Liverpool, NY; and her dog, Lacy. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gary Provost; brothers, Fran Cornish, Gregory Cornish and a sister, Sonya Cornish Nageley of Ithaca, NY.
