Jane Harriet Roarke Schenck

Jane Harriet Roarke Schenck, 93, of Dryden, NY passed away November 30, 2025 at home.

Born in Cato, NY on June 26, 1932, Jane is the daughter of the late John and Ruth Tyler Roarke. She graduated from Union Springs High School in 1950, where she went on to go to Eastman School for Dental Hygienists in Rochester. Jane spent her time as a Dental Hygienist in various schools through the Ithaca area until she started working full time for Dr. Elkins and Dr. Fagan, which she did for 32 years.

Jane is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Kurt) Gramstad of Norway, sons Mark Schenck from Colorado, and Jeff (Kim) Schenck of Dryden; grandsons Eric, Bryan, John (Amanda), Ethan, and Elim; his only granddaughter Suzie (Noah); great grandchildren Samuel, Grayson, Addy, Maci, Colin, and Tessa.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Allen Schenck who passed in 2023, and her grandson Karl.

Visitation for Jane will be held at Perkins Funeral Home on Thursday, December 11th, from 12:00 - 1:00PM with a service to follow lead by Reverend Nancy Didway. Burial will be held in Green Hills Cemetery, Dryden, NY.
