Jaime Alan Zappala

Jaime A. Zappala, 65 of Ithaca, NY passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024 at home.

Born April 21, 1959 in Oswego, NY he was the son of Alice Arduini Zappala and the late John R. Zappala. Jaime moved to Ithaca in 1987 and has been an electrician in Ithaca for over 30 years.

In addition to his mother, Alice of Oswego, NY, Jaime is survived by his son, Matthew J. Zappala and grandson, Trevor Zappala both of Lansing, NY; his sister, Suzanne Riciputo of Fulton, NY; brothers, Kenneth Michael Zappala of Tucker, GA and John Robert Zappala Jr. of Dryden, NY; nieces, Cara Riciputo of Fulton, NY and Desiree Zappala of Oswego, NY; and nephew, Nicholas Riciputo of Fulton. In addition to his father, John Zappala, Jaime is predeceased by his sister, Cynthia Zappala.

There are no formal services planned at this time. A Celebration of his life will be held later and will be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
