Hugh Newbury,
age 52, died unexpectedly on November 10, 2012 in Texas.Born November 11, 1959 in Hollywood, CA he is a son of Ernest Newbury and step son of Sharon Newbury of Dryden, NY and grandson of the late Lily Ann and Clarence Newbury of Ithaca, NY.
In addition, he is predeceased by his birth mother, Barbara and the mother who raised him, Rebecca and by a younger brother, Jonathan. He is also survived by his wife, Letty and daughter, Brandy and two grandchildren in San Antonio, TX; nine brothers and sisters and a cousin, Bryan Newbury of Dryden, NY.
He spent his younger years in the Ithaca area and was a graduate of Auburn High School and Allegany College in Pennsylvania. Following college, he served in the US Air Force for 10 years, becoming a third generation veteran. Most recently, he was a truck driver.
A celebration of Hugh’s life will be held at 11 am, at the Dryden Veteran’s Memorial Home, Route 13, Dryden, NY on Saturday, December 8, 2012, informal wear is requested.
