Gertrude F. Orr

Gertrude F. "Mickey" Orr, age 89, of Route 221, Marathon, NY passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at home.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ she was the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel Calahan Wright and wife of the late Robert Orr, Sr. who died in 1984.
Surviving are her children, Elizabeth "Betty" Orr of Cortland, NY; Robert E. (Connie) Orr, Jr. of Adams, NY and Charles J. (Cheryl) Orr of Centerville, UT; her twin sister, Lucille Flatley of Kearney, NJ; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition, she was predeceased by her daughter, Hazel Stone on January 30, 2016.
Interment with Graveside services will be held in the spring at Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Cortland County SPCA, 879 McLean Rd., Cortland, NY 13045.
