George Reynolds

GEORGE "BUTCH" REYNOLDS, age 52, of 1532 NYS Rt. 11, Marathon, NY passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center after becoming ill at work. Butch was born Jan. 25, 1957 in Syracuse and was a long time Cortland area resident. He served US Army and had been employed at Gutchess Lumber, Willcox Tire and lastly at J.D. Ferro Roofing and Siding. He enjoyed hunting, playing the drums, Giants football, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Dora Chorley Reynolds, his children, Kari (Travis Rowser) Hutchings and their daughter, Keanna Reynolds, Doniel Case and her children, Dominick & Danika, Dylan Reynolds, Pat, Steve and Krista Reynolds, step-children, Ed (Denise) Benjamin, Amy (Corey) Stevens, Shane (Shelly) Chorley, Billy (Allie) Chorley, Lori (Brian) Robinson, Jim (Tracy) Chorley, Kathy (Wayne) Harvey; brothers, Tom (Dolly) Price, Mike Price and Billy Reynolds; several grand and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Clinton and Catherine Price and a granddaughter, Mariah Reynolds.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. James Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Homer, NY. Friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden.
