George B. Lynch, 65, of Virgil, NY, passed away on September 25, 2026 at Upstate University Hospital after a short battle with lung cancer. George was born on May 23, 1961 in Cortland, NY to George E. Lynch and Barbara Lynch.

George spent over a decade racing street stock and late model cars at Skyline Raceway and Thunder Mountain Speedway. George loved to work. He enjoyed many years working on his own farm and dedicated over 20 years to Suit Kote doing road construction.

George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Barbara Lynch; his sisters, Debra Cornelius and Cindy Lynch; and his grandson, Connor B. Lynch.

George is survived by his wife, Donna Lynch; his children, George (Lisa) Lynch, Andrew (Crystal) Lynch, Danielle Lynch, and Angelo Brevetti who he loved like a son; his siblings, Garry (Christine) Lynch and Donna (Ronnie Peck) Reardon; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

George will be remembered by those close to him as a strong, hard-working man. His strength, resilience, and unmistakable stubbornness will live on through his children.

At George’s request, there will be no services held for him.
