Eileen M. "Shorty" (Lynch) Hammond

Eileen M. Hammond “Shorty” 64 of Freeville, NY passed on June 15, 2023 to be with all of her family and her dog, Bently who have passed before her.

Eileen is survived by her loving husband, Thomas R. Hammond; children, Desiree Shutts (Fred Schmidt), Thomas “TJ” Hammond (Heidi Sudbrink), step mother, Ruth M. Lynch, sisters, RuthAn Utter, Barb (Gary) Gleason, Brenda (Mike) Hammond, Wanda Popps, Mary (John) Brookes; brothers, Roger Moffitt, Art (Becca) Lynch, Robert (Angie) Lynch and Dick Elmer; 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; sister in law, Gail “Gert” (Robert) Metzler; son in law, Zeb Crosby; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition, she was predeceased by her daughter, Raeann Crosby; mother, Lee; father, Harry Lynch Sr; brother, Harry Lynch Jr; sisters, Barb Stith and Ester Mascato; brother in law, David Hammond and her beloved dog, Bentley.

Eileen loved to cook and bake and she loved country/rock music. She also loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed being a homemaker, selling jewelry and going to the casinos.

There will be no formal services. Perkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
