Dianne Lynn Bochenski – 07 June 1972 - (Passed) 30 May 2025

Let’s all get to know Dianne. Di began her life on Wednesday, 06-07-1972. The day was cool with rain, based on remnants of Hurricane Agnes. She was born by natural birth, healthy and alert. She bares the distinction of being the last baby born at Our Lady of Victory Hospital, Lackawanna, NY., delivered by Dr. Thomas Houston.

Dianne is the second child of Bernard L. Bochenski, Jr. & Geraldine L. Bochenski (nee Bellinger). Dianne came home to share her parents’ attentionwith her sister Patricia Rene, born 10 Feb 1971. Patty and Dianne were loved and raised in a loving home in Holland, NY. Dianne’s mother (Geri) was a stay-at-home mother for both girls for their first few years. Di excelled and grew. She was healthy, active, and ever so inquisitive. Her interests and achievements were above normal. She was a happy baby and a happy girl. On April 5 th 1974, Dianne & Patty welcomed their new baby brother, Jason David, the 3 rd child born to Bernie & Geri. Shortly after Jason’s birth, at the end of May 1974, Dianne’s father Bernie graduated from college. During the 3 rd week of May 1974, the family moved from Delevan, NY. With help from dear friends (John & Jan Busalachi), the family moved to and, started their next adventure in Dryden, NY. All three children attended Dryden Central High School, Dryden, NY. Dianne completed her courses and graduated in June of 1990. Initially, she had plans to attend Tompkins-Cortland Community College, Dryden, NY with an interest in accounting or business management. However, at that specific moment in time, Dianne made the decision to marry a classmate, Deric Boileau. Di decided to support Deric while he attended and completed his education. She accepted a position as a bank teller at a local bank in Dryden, NY. Dianne was also active with the local Dryden school system, regarding the development of learning programs for her sons and other children. When her sons entered pre-school at “Happy Way” pre-school head start, Dianne accepted a position as a teacher’s aide. Over the years, several students reached out and thanked Dianne, keeping in touch with her. Her guidance influenced many children’s lives. Dianne and Deric initially remained in Dryden, NY, residing on Livermore Rd.

It was during this time that Dianne bore her two sons, Zachary J. (born, 05 March 1996) and Jordan M. (born, 25 April 1998). Dianne proved to be an exceptional mother. She demonstrated resilience, ingenuity, guidance, nurturing and mentorship to her sons. Her dedication to their growth and development is nothing short of noteworthy. Her supervision and direction guided both sons to excel and prosper along their own interests and education pathways. Zachary (ZJ) became active with a local Catholic church, Holy Cross, Dryden, NY and was selected to be an Alter boy. The family took the advantage of a career opportunity in the state of Tennessee. The family relocated to White House, TN in 2005. The family thrived and the boys honed their skills in various areas of interests. Dianne demonstrated selflessness and was laser focused, championing each of her sons’ interests, education goals and achievements. Zach (ZJ) expressed an interest in law. Dianne encouraged him to intern at a local law office in White House, TN. ZJ was deeply involved at his school as a member of the school’s “student court” activities. His higher education initially focused on a career in jurisprudence. Jordan honed his own skill sets, achieving excellence as an accomplished alto saxophone musician. He is also a self-taught percussionist with both the piano and organ. His practiced skills earned him the respect to be selected by his marching band members to be the band’s field marshal and conductor.

Dianne decided to forego her own post high school education to devote her time to encourage and be directly involved in the full potential of her two sons. Dianne earned the respect and praise of family and friends alike. Dianne’s determination to support Jordan and Zachary, ensuring that their aspirations were, viable and achievable. Dianne crafted and maintained an environ of commitment and excellence. At the same time, Dianne balanced a career as a senior bank teller. She was directly responsible for tens of thousands of bank funds and thousands of customer accounts. She hired, trained, and mentored several subordinate bank employees. Both sons benefited from her focus and resolve. After graduation from high school, Dianne’s sons went on to earn undergraduate degrees. Zachary (ZJ) graduated from the University of TN, Chattanooga. Jordan was accepted and graduated from Purdue University (Boilermakers). While the boys were in school, Dianne contributed to the success of her husbands' pest control company, Earthwise Pest Control, LLC. The company is a thriving, successful and profitable company.

Dianne was an ardent fan and follower of Elvis Presley. She prided herself on knowledge of all things…Elvis! She frequented “Graceland”, in Memphis, TN, many, many times. She associated with many friends and, relatives of the entertainer. She claimed Graceland as her “happy place”. Each time she visited, she was immersed in serenity, emotional relief, and comforting solace. Dianne loved listening to all music and loved to dance.

Sadly, Dianne’s health began to falter around 2015. She was first diagnosed with Lupus, an auto-immune disease. Despite the diagnosis, Dianne remained stalwart and resolute. Soon after, she was diagnosed with yet another autoimmune disease Sjögren's syndrome. While dealing with these two maladies, simultaneously, Dianne was recently diagnosed with stage “0” Leukemia. Sadly, her health continued to decline. Her quality of life became terribly diminished. She was declared disabled and was forced to leave her position at the bank. The last 5 years were especially arduous, life disruptive and painful. Although her life’s journey was cut short and fraught with pain and struggle, Dianne never lost her dedication and full devotion to her sons. All three conditions directly contributed to her early passing. She was summoned to join our God and savior. Based on what the family knows, Dianne slipped away in her sleep sometime on 30 May 2025, just days before celebrating her 53rd birthday.

Family and friends are dealing with an overwhelming sense of loss. We are all burdened with despair and heartache. Our precious daughter, Dianne will be sadly missed, but joyfully remembered. We will never let her memory fade. We have pictures and videos of happier times. Each time we visit them; we will be reminded of who this lovely human being was.
