Deloris June Tripp

DELORIS JUNE TRIPP, age 89, formerly of Mill Street, Freeville, NY passed away at the home of her son in Cortland, NY. Deloris was born July 26, 1927 in Ithaca, a daughter of the late Emery and Ruth Corrington Sharpe. Her husband, Carl, passed away March 1, 2001. For several years they owned and operated Dee's Diner in Varna.
Survivors include her children, Carlene Maxwell of Cortland, James (Judy) Tripp of Cortland, William (Susan) Tripp of Dryden JoAnn (Kim) Dolittle of Newfield; her grandchildren, Christopher and Brian (Tammy) Maxwell, Jerralynn (Paul) Misco, Matthew Tripp, Melissa Warner and Rebecca (Brian Lumley) Tripp, Kim and Robert Dolittle; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Phyllis VanDuyn; her brothers, James and Jack Sharpe; a grandson, William Tripp and a son-in-law, Clifford Maxwell.
Private graveside services will be held at Willow Glen Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Perkins Funeral Home is assisting the family. Friends wishing to remember Deloris are asked to consider a memorial donation to: Hospicare, 172 East King Road, Ithaca, NY 14850.
