Daniel L. Carrier

DANIEL L. CARRIER, age 45 of 8 Schraber Road, Ithaca, NY died Friday, December 30, 2005 at his residence. Dan was born March 7th, 1960 at Cortland, NY a son of Joyce Youngs Carrier Sharpsteen and the late David Carrier. He was a long time resident of Ithaca and had been employed in the construction trades industry. He enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar and working on cars.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Joyce and Jaime Sharpsteen; his former wife, Diane Carrier; his children, Victoria Meigs of Ithaca, Tyler and Jordan Blake both of Sayre, PA; his siblings, Barbara Sharpsteen, Brian Carrier, Leonard Carrier, Donald Carrier; three beloved grandchildren; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father and by a brother, Bruce Carrier.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, Jan 5, 2006 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Austin officiating. Burial will be in Groton Rural Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 12 to 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY.
