Casey Robert Inman

November 28, 1987 — April 4, 2025

Ithaca

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son, Casey
Robert Inman, 37, on April 4, 2025, in Ithaca, New York. Casey was born in Syracuse, NY, on
November 28, 1987, to Gary Inman and Cheryl Savino. Casey lived a life shaped by creativity,
curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the natural world.
He graduated from Liverpool High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY
Oneonta, where he excelled in his studies. His passion for music led him to pursue further
studies in Music Therapy at SUNY New Paltz. While his academic path reflected his love for the
arts and healing through music, Casey ultimately found his professional calling as a Marketing
Strategist. In recent years, he worked remotely for companies outside the Syracuse area,
applying his talent for language with dedication and insight.
Casey’s connection to nature was a defining part of his life. He spent much of his youth camping
in the Adirondacks, especially around Raquette Lake—where he developed an enduring love for
the outdoors. This bond continued into adulthood as he explored trails throughout the Finger
Lakes region and took up mushroom foraging, a quiet pursuit that mirrored his attentiveness
and respect for the environment.
One of his most cherished places was the Swan Pond in Manlius, where he often went to reflect
and recharge. Music also remained central to Casey’s life. In high school, he learned guitar and
performed in a band called Gadabout—an experience that brought joy to both him and those
who listened.
Casey is lovingly remembered by his mother, Cheryl Savino; his father, Gary R. Inman; his
Stepmom, Leilani Franklin; his sister, Danielle Belina; his brother-in-law, Alexander Belina II;
and two of the greatest joys of his life, his niece, Stella Belina, and his nephew, Savino Belina.
He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents: Daniel and Antionette Savino and Robert
and Yvonne Inman, and his great-uncle John Savino.
Private services will be held.
May Casey’s memory lives on through the trails he walked and the songs he played.
