Carole Morehouse

Carole Morehouse, born January 3, 1944 in Ithaca, New York, passed away peacefully at home on December 9, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by her sister Nancy Neilson; children Caralina (Dave) Kimbrough, Gerry (Rebecca) Hays, and Jim (Angela) Hays; ten grandchildren; fifteen great‑grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Carole retired after 35 years at Cornell University and cherished time with her family above all else. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The family extends special thanks to Gerry and Rebecca Hays for their loving care in her final weeks.

A Celebration of Life will be held January 3, 2026, from 12–3 p.m. at the VFW, 2272 Dryden Rd, Dryden, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Guthrie Johnson City Pavilion, 27 Jennison Ave, Johnson City, NY 13790.
