Bradly J. Finegan of Cortland NY passed away on September 17th, 2026.

Born June 19th 1967 in Binghamton, NY to Joseph and Patricia Finegan, spent much of his youth in the Northeast. Brad graduated from Great Valley high school, Malvern PA.

Brad began his career as a Procurement Forrester with Georgia-Pacific after graduating from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia. This position took him to Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

After a few years in North Carolina Brad headed back to Pennsylvania, where he worked for Modern Equipment Company selling and leasing capital construction equipment. Soon Brad realized he wanted to get back to the timber business and took a role as a timber buyer working for David R. Webb company where his territory was traveling the Northeast. Cortland NY is where Brad eventually put down roots. In the past 20 plus years Brad has worked for Gutchess Lumber as a timber buyer. After years of walking tracks in the woods, Brad finally landed the job he loved the most as Chief Forrester and Lease Manger for Cotton-Hanlon.

Brad was avid outdoors man. His love of hunting, fishing, guns, dogs was evident through out his life. His perpetual research for his passions was un matched.

He is survived by his parents, Patricia and Joseph Finegan, Sister, Monica Finegan Roach (Husband Marty, son Patrick), and his Daughter Junu Keegan.
