BONNIE LEE CLIFT
, age 66, of 11 Lee Road, Dryden, NY passed away Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Cayuga Medical Center, Ithaca, NY. Bonnie was born August 12, 1942 in Ithaca, NY a daughter of the late Harold and Vida Van Dyne Huntley and was a long time area resident who was graduated from Ithaca High School and SUNY Cortland. She taught in the West Hill School in Ithaca, Liverpool Elementary and in the Deposit Elementary School. Later she worked at the Ithaca YMCA pre-school and then opened Lee Road Day Care. She was a member of The First Presbyterian Church of Dryden.
Survivors include her former husband, Dennis Clift; her children, Todd and Karen Clift of Cortland, NY, Cristy and Tim Batt of Lake Placid, NY, Tiffany and Matt Berry of Peru, NY; two grandchildren, Jameson and Samantha Batt; a sister, Sherry and Dr. MacDonald Holmes, DVM of Cobleskill, NY; nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at a time to be announced. Perkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
