BEVERLY J. MOREY,
age 74, of Village Terrace Apts., Cortland, NY passed away, Saturday, January 3, 2009 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center after short illness. Beverly was born March 7, 1934 in Ithaca a daughter of the late Claude J. and Elizabeth Nagy Rodee. On June 19, 1966 she was married to Mason E. Morey, Jr. in Etna, NY. She was a life area resident and enjoyed her family and especially liked her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Mason E. Morey, Jr., of Cortland; her son, Mason E. (Amy) Morey, III of Trumansburg, NY; Sharon Sanford of Lansing, Carolyn (Jeff) Morrison of California; her grandchildren,
Nicholas, Bradley, Cameron and Brianna Morey all of Trumansburg.; a sister-in-law, Marlene Rodee of Cortland; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Claude Rodee.
Mrs. Morey’s family will be present to receive their friends from 7 to 9 PM, Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009 at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY. Graveside services will be held in Willow Glen Cemetery when the weather permits.
