Barney R. Termina

BARNEY R. TERMINA, age 64, of Lansing, NY passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 11, 2016 surrounded by his family.
He was born in Carbondale, PA and is the son of Beatrice Termina of Forest City, PA and the late Barney Termina. In addition to his mother he is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Margaret "Peggy" Termina at home; his daughter, Kristy Ann Termina of Huntsville, NC and his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Marie and Jason Kraft of Charlotte, NC and grandchildren, Austin and Paiten Kraft.
Barney was a graduate of Hancock High School, SUNY Delhi, and Tompkins Cortland Community College. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1971-1977 and was a member of the local and national chapters of H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group). After moving to Dryden in 1977, Barney worked for Triangle Steel and John C. Lowery Construction. He later became a partner in Kelmar Construction Sales where he served the construction industry for 25 years. Following retirement he worked for HEP Sales of Cortland. Barney enjoyed spending time and making memories with family and friends, riding his motorcycle and restoring antique and classic cars. Barney held a special place in his family and brought much love, laughter and joy to his family and friends. He had a way of making everyone feel loved and a part of his family. Barney will always live on in our hearts and be remembered as a loving husband, father and friend, a coach with the Lansing Softball Program and a respected businessman. To know him was to love him.
The family will be present to receive friends on Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 1 - 4 pm at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden with a memorial service will follow at 4 pm.
